Circle K International (CKI) is the premier collegiate and university community service, leadership development and friendship organization in the world. With more than 12,600 members in 17 nations, CKI is making a positive impact on the world every day. Circle K clubs are organized and sponsored by a Kiwanis club on a college or university campus. CKI is a self-governing organization and elects i
ts own officers, conducts its own meetings and determines its own service activities. CKI blends community service and leadership training with the opportunity to meet other college students around the world. Projects such as the Eliminate Project, Kiwanis' international fundraiser that aims to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus, bring CKI members together to make a difference in the world. Circle K International offers members a variety of experiences to help them realize their leadership potential. Your involvement in CKI will have a significant impact on your campus, community, and the entire world. As a dedicated CKI member, you will develop lifelong friendships, establish a network of members from the entire Kiwanis family, and gain satisfaction knowing your leadership and service are making a positive impact on the world. CKI is based on 3 core values:
Service
Because of CKI's rich history of helping others, members of CKI share in the tradition of serving their campuses and communities. CKI members, by planning and participating in projects and activities, volunteer their time, talents, ideas, and skills for the purpose of making a long-lasting and far-reaching impact on their environment. Leadership
By simply joining CKI, you stand out as a leader who plans to make a difference in the world. Through the CKI structure, every member also has the opportunity to develop leadership skills by serving as an officer or committee chairperson. Whether serving as a club project chair, district officer, or International Representative, each member has the opportunity to discover and develop talents and skills. Fellowship
If there is one thing that CKI members know best, it is fellowship. Whether they are planning a carwash, visiting shut-ins, reading to three-year-olds or conducting business, CKI members across the globe take time to meet and welcome new people. With each element and aspect of CKI, members experience fellowship and develop lifelong relationships with fellow collegians, advisors, Kiwanians and citizens in their communities. Whether a CKI member is mentoring a child, networking with a businessman, or bowling with members, that member is developing social skills, meeting new people and strengthening relationships.
