Our Clinical Medical Assistant program prepares you to work confidently in medical offices, clinics, and other healthcare settings. You’ll gain hands-on skills in:

✔️ Vital signs
✔️ Phlebotomy & specimen collection
✔️ 12-lead EKG
✔️ Preparing patients for exams & treatments
✔️ Collecting and documenting patient data

Students who complete this comprehensive program will be eligible to sit for the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certified Clinical Medical Assistant national certification exam.

Looking to expand your scope of practice? Our IV Therapy for LPNs course is back with new dates and limited spots available!

This course prepares Licensed Practical Nurses to safely and confidently perform IV therapy procedures using peripheral IV catheters, midline catheters, and PICC lines, in accordance with 655 IAC Chapter 6.

Ready to make a difference when it matters most?

Our Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course prepares you to provide critical, lifesaving care and safely transport patients as part of an emergency medical services team.

📅 Class Schedule:

• Tuesdays & Thursdays | 6:00–10:00 PM

• February 5 – May 28, 2026

📍 Location:

SWCC Creston Campus

Tech Center II, Room 101

💲 Program Cost: $1,750

🩺 Program Highlights:

• Hands-on training using equipment found on ambulances

• Learn to provide basic emergency medical care

• Serve as a vital link between the scene and the healthcare system

• Work under medical oversight as part of a comprehensive EMS response

📌 Important Requirements:

✔ Must be 17 years old at enrollment

✔ Must speak, read, and write English

✔ Criminal background check required

✔ Physical exam required prior to clinical/field phase

✔ Mandatory EMS Orientation:
