Cupcake camp at the UofA Research & Extension Center in Keiser today was lots of fun learning different piping, icing, and decorating skills. Today, this awesome group of junior bakers created beautiful cakes by learning and practicing their icing, piping, and design techniques. We had a wonderful
day at The Great Outdoors Camp! We learned about purple martins and their habitat, made bird feeders and hung them up in the trees on campus, we also had a team building exercise where we broke into teams and each team created their own nest! The students gained great respect for all birds and their ability to construct their own nests! More fun to come tomorrow!

Today was a fun-filled Bee Camp, which gave this awesome group of students an opportunity to learn about bees' role in nature and everyday life, taste honey, make fun crafts and snacks, and so much more! Beekeeper Naomi Magnolia also gave a smoker demo and let the students try on beekeeper suits. This camp is held in partnership between ANC Community Education , Mississippi County 4H, and the UA Extension Service. Special thank you to all of the volunteers that made the camp possible, and to Big River Steel for making this and so many of our summer camps possible. 💙🌞🐝

Our new Tech-sploration camp was a hit! The students created 3d designs with CAD software, filament pens, and 3d printing, turned sketches into laser etched items, took the controls of robotic orbs and a drone, learned the basics of circuitry, and competed in fun engineering challenges. Thank you to Mr. Diagostino and Mrs. Wicker for being our awesome instructors, and once again to Big River Steel for sponsoring this and many of our summer youth camps! 💙🌞👩‍💻🖥️
