The Click It or Ticket campaign starts today and runs through the 26th. Our goal is simple: keep every driver and passenger in our community safe. Seat belts save lives but only when they’re worn.

We’ll be out conducting targeted enforcement throughout the week. Buckle up, every trip, every time.

We had the honor of being invited to First Responders Day with the Oswego High School Girls Varsity Softball team. It was a great day supporting these talented athletes and celebrating the strong partnership between our first responders and the community. Thank you for having us! Go Bucs!

To honor and celebrate our heroes that answer campus emergency calls 24/7/365, University Police @ Oswego celebrates the start of National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week (April 12-18th). We thank and deeply appreciate our campus dispatchers who all serve as the critical first point of contact in urgent situations.

Behind every response our officers make is first a steady, reassuring voice. Thank you Dispatchers for being the calm in the storm and the lifeline that keeps our Laker community safe!

University Police is proud to partner with for this year’s Radiothon in support of Oswego County Opportunities. Community policing is about showing up for the people we serve, and events like this give us a chance to connect with students in a meaningful way while helping a cause that makes a real impact in our county. We’re grateful to be included again this year and look forward to supporting the students as they lead this incredible fundraiser.

Please join us in welcoming our newest recruit, Officer Michael Madonia. Michael will begin his training at the Oswego County Regional Police Academy on Monday, March 30th. He was officially sworn in by Chief Swayze, joined by his family and members of our department.

We’re excited to have him on board and look forward to supporting him as he begins his law enforcement career. Congratulations, Officer Madonia, and welcome to University Police.
