It’s OPEN ENROLLMENT day!

And do you know what that means?.....

It means it’s your lucky day to apply to our MFT graduate program using the code “Falcons”, (which you will enter on the last page on the enrollment website) for a waived application fee!

Enrollment Day, part of New Student Orientation, is designed for all new and transfer students in the College of Business, Arts, Sciences and Education (CBASE) who have made the decision to attend Friends University. All first-year, full-time students are required to attend an enrollment session.

Each year, the faculty and staff of the Friends University MSFT program request alumni to complete a survey reflecting their experiences and accomplishments since graduation from the program. We would be most grateful for any MSFT Program alum who completed their degree to complete the survey.

‼️STUDENT SPOTLIGHT🔦‼️

We would like to recognize a student in our MFT program: Cynthia Wright - Cohort 54!

Cynthia has been informed she is now officially a Fellow of the AAMFT Minority Fellowship Program and the first ever student in the MSFT program at Friends University to receive such a distinction. The Minority Fellowship Program endeavors to expand the delivery of culturally competent mental health and substance abuse services to underserved minority populations and to increase the number of culturally competent Marriage and Family therapists. THE MFP program provides financial support and professional guidance to graduate students pursuing degrees in Marriage and Family therapy and provides a fellowship program open to Marriage and Family Therapy students who are committed to research about and service to ethnic minority and underserved populations.

Congratulations, Cynthia! Your Friends University faculty and peers are extremely proud of your accomplishment!

Last Friday, Cohort 56 participated in the annual Clinical Placement Fair! There were about 20 placement sites that the students had an opportunity to meet with. Following the placement fair, students will go through a matching and interview process to determine their clinical internship site!✅
