Dr. Micah Perkins and a group of his students took a trip this week to John James Audubon State Park and Mesker Park Zoo as part of the Motus Wildlife Project! This opportunity to learn outside of the classroom was funded through the Cargill Grant, a generous award that has allowed the Biology Department to install a radio tower to help track the movement of wildlife through the Motus Program from our very own campus. You can find the link for the OCTC Tracking Station here: https://motus.org/dashboard/ =profile&d=stations&s=15346

We are also so excited to see what Dr. Perkins students have learned through this project at the Student Symposium this Friday, April 11th at 1:00pm in the IIC Lobby on Main Campus. If you would like to learn more about this project and the impact it will have for the Owensboro community, we hope to see you there!
