Miami University Architecture Graduate Symposium: Identity?

Miami University Architecture Graduate Symposium: Identity? This graduate symposium will explore Identity which can be described as: the condition of being oneself or itself, and not another .

Identity can be experienced culturally, through a nationality, a place, or as an individual. As architects, planners, designers, architectural historians, and those in the business design and branding fields how do we consider the challenges of 21st century Identity and contemporary design of space and place? How can architectural processes, research and projects question our understanding of what it means to have an Identity.
