The Association of Latino and American Students is an organization established in Miami University's Oxford campus. This student-run organization is open to anyone interested in exposing themselves to the Latina/o culture through the attendance of general bi-weekly meetings, ALAS events such as our famous Salsa Nights aka Locura Latina. ALAS also holds Conversación y Café, which is a perfect oppor

tunity for those who are interested in working on their Spanish speaking abilities. Participating in ALAS is a great way to broaden your understanding and interaction of various different Spanish speaking cultures as our executive board members vary in ethnic backgrounds. Executive Board 2017-2018
