Local artist Jason Bouldin and Assistant Professor of Printmaking Kaleena Stasiak have been taking advantage of the empty printshop before students come back to school! They have been letterpress printing a commemorative broadside celebrating 40 years of the Chancellor’s Leadership Committee.

This 2026 Maymester Karianna Fuqua and Kaleena Stasiak brought 9 students to New York City as part of Study USA. Students visited the MET, Guggenheim, Whitney Biennial, Chelsea Galleries, Studio Museum in Harlem, the Frick and MOMA. The city became their classroom as they saw familiar works of art that they had previously only seen in textbooks or on screens as well as discovered new artists while learning about the history of these institutions. A great way to kick off the summer!
