Miami University Outdoor Adventure Club

Miami University Outdoor Adventure Club Miami OAC Hi everyone! We offer trips of all types and skill levels. Necessary equipment and training is free for all members.

OAC is the one and only club for all you outdoor enthusiasts out there whether you love hiking 100 miles or just relaxing in a hot spring watching a beautiful desert sunset you will love the OAC. Miami University Outdoor Adventure Club (OAC) established in 1973, is open to the entire university community and created with the purpose of promoting recreation, instruction and service in the outdoors.

In contrast to our friends at the Outdoor Pursuit Center (OPC), we are a student run organization and thanks to club sports funding, donations and fundraisers we are able to offer our trips well below costs. Our organization strives to create a friendly nondiscriminatory environment in which all members play an integral role in the club and help contribute to the sense of community.

We basically just went over what the plan is for the next two weekends! This weekend we have a backpacking trip in TN. There’s a good number of peeps going and I (Victoria) am so jelly because it looks like a blast and I can’t go...BUT next weekend (Oct 19-21) I’m planning a VIA FERRATA trip to red river gorge so SIGN UPPPP. You won’t just get to experience some sick climbing but you’ll get to listen to me jamming out in our van ✌🏼dm if you want to get on our mailing list or join on the hub!!

OAC, It's that time of year...WHITE WATER RAFTING SZN!!! Head down to good ole WV with us this weekend to raft the upper gulley. Did I mention it's top FIVE in the WORLD? If I didn't sell you at that, we are also going for a DISCOUNTED price. We still have spots open so sign up by tonight for some ~good times~
