Kappa Sigma’s SAJ Weekend of Giving is one of the most meaningful weekends of the year for our chapter. It’s a time when we come together to raise money, give back, and support causes that matter to us.

Throughout the weekend we work to fundraise, connect with alumni, and give back to organizations that align with our values. It’s something we’re really proud of each year.

The Kappa Sigma Fraternity is in day 2 of a weekend devoted to expanding the Scholarship and Leadership Endowment Fund and has raised over $585,000 so far. What makes this weekend unique is that 100% of the funds designated to a specific chapter go to that Chapter specifically!

The Undergraduate members are encouraged to make contributions and I am happy to report 100% of the membership has done so with the average gift being $15.34!

The alumni members have made challenge matches are also donating and have added another $7,000 so far with more to come when the matches are complete.

Miami (Theta-Upsilon Chapter) has moved into 10th place nationwide from this commitment,

Homecoming Weekend 2025

This past weekend, brothers and alumni reunited in Oxford for a memorable Homecoming filled with memories and lifelong brotherhood. We were proud to honor two outstanding alumni at our Hall of Fame Induction:

Brother John Henry (‘85) – A global finance leader whose dedication to service and support for our chapter and causes like Breakthrough T1D and The Cradle has made a lasting impact.

Brother Craig Izzo (‘88) – A corporate executive and mentor whose leadership at Scotts Miracle-Gro and guidance through our Chapter Advisory Council has strengthened Theta-Upsilon for future generations.

A weekend to remember, and a reminder that the bonds of Kappa Sigma truly last a lifetime.
