Statement about from the African American Studies Program at The University of Mississippi
"The faculty members of the African American Studies Program at the University of Mississippi want to clearly express our solidarity with oppressed citizens of this nation. In this time of national uncertainty, African Americans continue to struggle against injustice. The global pandemic and continuing police brutality highlight longstanding inequities, but also highlight ongoing efforts to seek justice, not only for African Americans but for all people. We want to clarify our position in relation to these issues."
