The International Transgender Day of Visibility, occurring annually on March 31, is dedicated to celebrating trans and nonbinary people while raising awareness of the discrimination still faced by the greater transgender community worldwide.
Show us what visibility means to you! Not everyone is—or can be—visible in the same ways. We’re interested in works of art, poetry, or video stories highlighting your personal experiences or thoughts on what visibility in the trans community is, can be, or should be. Submissions will be accepted by email ([email protected]) until 12:00pm noon on Wednesday, March 24. Please note that this project will be shared publicly on March 31, 2021.
This year, we’re partnering with trans groups across Ohio to make TDOV last not just one day, but all month long. Stay tuned for more details! 🏳️⚧️
