Oxford College of Emory University joins the broader Emory community in welcoming Christopher L. Augostini as the university’s 22nd president.

A longtime leader at Emory, Augostini currently serves as executive vice president and chief operating officer and was selected following a national search that engaged voices from across the university community. His deep understanding of Emory’s mission, combined with his collaborative leadership and extensive experience, positions him well to guide the university into its next chapter.

We look forward to partnering with President Augostini as we continue to advance Oxford’s distinctive academic experience and strengthen the pathways that connect our students to the wider Emory community.

Emory Over 40 Network Pickleball Party | Sunday, May 31 | 11:30AM–1:30PM
Join your fellow Emory alumni for a fun afternoon of pickleball. This event is hosted by the APIDA, Atlanta Young Alumni, and Latin Alumni Networks and is open to ALL Emory alumni, which means it's a great chance to connect with folks across the Atlanta community.

Never played before? No problem — there will be someone on hand to teach beginners. Bring your own paddle if you have one, but loaners will be available.

For over twenty years, the Office of Sustainability Initiatives has guided the efforts to meet the challenges of sustainability across all of Emory University, Oxford College, and Emory Healthcare.

This work would not be possible without the work of the amazing sustainability champions across Emory's vast enterprise.

Daniel Parson runs the Oxford Organic Farm an eleven-acre piece of land adjacent to the campus that provides produce for the university's dining halls and unique learning opportunities for students. Many Oxford faculty members incorporate the farm into their curricula including courses in anthropology, economics, sociology, biology, philosophy, environmental science, and wellness. Students visit the farm with their professors in their instruction and return to work for several additional hours.
In 2025, the Farm produced 29,000 pounds of produce and donated 2,140 CSA boxes to customers

Oxford College of Emory University celebrated its 181st Commencement on May 9, 2026, on the College’s beautiful historic campus. The occasion brought together graduates, families, faculty, staff, alumni, and distinguished guests, including members of Oxford’s Board of Counselors and Alumni Board, Interim President Justice Leah Ward Sears 80L, Interim Dean Joseph Crespino of Emory College of Arts and Sciences, and this year’s commencement speaker, Tinsley Ellis, the legendary blues musician and proud Oxford College Class of 1977 and Emory College Class of 1979.

Students celebrated the completion of their time at Oxford on May 9 during traditional Commencement ceremonies.

What a joyful weekend celebrating the Oxford College Class of 1976 and their 50th Reunion! It was incredible seeing so many happy faces back on campus, reconnecting, laughing, and reliving memories that shaped a lifetime.
