This is the official page of the Ole Miss Bands. This page will provide information for all the concert and athletic bands at the University of Mississippi. Bands within our program include: UM Wind Ensemble, UM Symphonic Band, UM Concert Band, UM Campus Band, LOU Summer Community Band, Marching Band (Pride of the South), Basketball Bands (Sound of the ‘Sip), Pep Bands. Membership is open

to all University of Mississippi students regardless of major or classification. Band Faculty and Staff

Alex joins us as the first-ever wind conducting graduate student in the history of the University of Mississippi — an exciting milestone for the growth and future of the Ole Miss Bands program.

Both students bring terrific musicianship, leadership, and passion for music education, and we are thrilled to have them join our team this fall.

The University of Mississippi Wind Ensemble gave a fantastic performance last night as the final band concert of the semester. We are so grateful for the University Chorus and their wonderful collaboration with us. We also want to give a special thank you to all of our guest artists last night Dr. Elizabeth Knight, Dr. Jos Milton, Prof. Adrienne Park, Prof. Randy Dale, Dr. Don Trott, and Dr. Libby Hearn. Thank you to everyone in the community that came out and supported us last night, it truly was a special night!

Last night, both the Concert Band and the Campus Band gave amazing performances! We are so proud of our students in both groups and of our Graduate Assistants, Autumn Davila, Emily Torrent, and Sofia Euyoque, who had the wonderful opportunity to conduct the concert. We hope to see you all tomorrow for the final band concert of the semester by the University of Mississippi Wind Ensemble.

In a week, the University of Mississippi Wind Ensemble will perform its final concert of the semester. Next week, multiple of the Ole Miss Bands concert ensembles will be performing! On Monday, the Symphonic Band will perform its second concert of the semester, and on Tuesday, the Concert and Campus Bands will perform their final concert of the academic year.
