Walking through the doors for the first time, I knew I wanted to call KD home, and I would make the same decision a thousand times more. Words can’t even describe how incredibly thankful I am for every single one of my friends I have met through KD!! I am so so so lucky to have found my best friends who are the most kind hearted, loyal, and beautiful girls inside and out!! I know that these girls will be part of my life for forever. The past 8 months of my life have shown me what real and true friendship is, and how amazing it is to have support and love surrounding you. We are SO proud of our sisters Hannah Jenkins, Sofia King, Meredith Whited, Marly Credille, and Lily Reed for competing in Parade of Beauties yesterday!! 👑💓

Two of our sisters Hannah Jenkins and Marly Credille placed in the top 10, and KD alum Anna Claire Campbell who was crowned Ole Miss Most Beautiful 2022 came back to crown this years Most Beautiful!! ✨✨

“I can not even describe how much KD has brought me. When I decided to go KD, I knew it was special, but I did not truly know how much it was going to bring to my life! After many years of prayers, the moment I walked into KD I knew this was the place for me!!! I can’t help but feel loved and joyful every time I walking into the house. KD has brought me the true friendships and happiness that I have always been looking for!! My sisters encourage and push me everyday to be a better version of myself, which has allowed me to grow so much in my little time in KD!! I love each and everyone of these girls so much and couldn’t imagine my life without them! I will be forever grateful that God brought me this true sisterhood that I get to experience everyday!!!”

Last night, we had the opportunity to hangout with one of our local beneficiaries, Girl Scouts of the USA!!! 💚💚

We had✨SO MUCH FUN✨walking around campus selling cookies to the sororities and fraternities!

We were able to help sell over 1,100 boxes of cookies!! 🍪🫶🏻

On Wednesday night we had the honor of attending the FSL awards and took home a few awards!! Our sisters Annalaura Swinea won the Unsung Hero award, McKenzie Cox won the Emerging Leader award, and Anna Leigh Montgomery won the Outstanding Community Servant award!!

We also won the Excellence in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion award!

We are SO proud of our sisters and our chapter!! Hope everyone had an amazing weekend!! 💚💚💚

“The moment we met at South Depot during our senior year of high school, we instantly knew we wanted to be roommates. From there, our friendship only grew. We were able to run home together on bid day, live together in Hooper, and we recently signed a lease for next year. We can confidently say none of it would have happened without KD. When asked, “Why KD?” the first thing that comes to mind is the sisterhood. We treasure KD’s sisterhood for the little things. KD has given us the opportunity to not only make lifelong friendships but has also given us the best support system. Our sisterhood is more than just roommates to future bridesmaids. KD gives you friends that truly understand you and love you for who you are. Friends come and go but sisters are forever. We could never have imagined that our love for Kappa Delta would harbor such a true bond of friendship. We cannot express how much KD means to us, and we are forever grateful to have a friendship that will go beyond our four years here”💚💚💚
