The Columns Society The Columns Society is a group of 14 men and 14 women who serve as the official hosts and hostesses for the University of Mississippi.

The Columns Society is a group of fourteen men and fourteen women who serve as the official hosts and hostesses for the University of Mississippi. The group is based upon the principles of humble service, leadership and integrity. The Columns Society serves the University at all functions where it is desired to have students welcome and accompany guests and visitors at the University of Mississippi.

We are excited to introduce the newest class of the hosts and hostesses of the Columns Society! This group of nineteen exceptional students already exemplify the leadership, integrity, and humble service that are at the heart of the Columns Society. We are thrilled to watch this group grow in their roles and proudly represent the University of Mississippi in the navy blazer! 🏛️💙

Under the leadership of New Member Education Chair, Keller Smith, our new members will participate in weekly training meetings as they prepare to serve the University in this way.

We are so excited to finally be back together in Oxford again! Columns stayed busy this week with classes, Freshman Convocation, our first meeting of the year in the Chancellor’s SkyBox, and a Rebel WIN to end this exciting week.
