More than 1,300 Phis from 177 chapters stepped up during the Day of Giving Chapter Challenge, helping raise over $330,000!

That impact is already being felt. Last year, the Foundation funded $2M in scholarships, leadership programs, and educational support—expanding access to experiences like the Kleberg Emerging Leaders Institute and the McKenzie Family Presidents Leadership Conference, and strengthening chapters across the country.

And the momentum is building. From stronger scholarship applicants to increased leadership engagement, Phi Delta Theta is continuing to elevate the undergraduate experience with a long-term goal of reaching 2,500 Phis annually through in-person leadership education by 2030.

The Chapter Challenge also highlights what makes this effort special—chapters competing in groups based on alumni base size, giving every chapter a fair chance to lead through both participation and giving.

We’re proud to recognize this year’s Chapter Challenge winners, who will receive an additional $2,000 in chapter leadership funds for 2026. 🏆

Phi Delta Theta is honored to be one of the first fraternities joining Xavier as it builds a vibrant Greek community from the ground up. It's an exciting moment for the university, and we're proud to help set the foundation for generations of future student leaders.

There's something special about bringing Phi Delt to Cincinnati. We're just a few miles from our Ohio Theta Chapter at University of Cincinnati and only about an hour from our founding place at Miami University, where Phi Delta Theta began in 1848.

Introducing our 2026 Outstanding Junior of the Year from Nebraska Beta — University of Nebraska Kearney: Brother Gabriel Yochum!

"I could tell Phi Delt was more than just a fraternity," he says. "It was a brotherhood built on friendship, leadership, accountability, and becoming the best version of yourself." For Gabriel, those weren't just words. They became the standard he held himself to in every role he took on.

From Philanthropy Chair to Recruitment Chair to Chapter President, he has led his brothers with the same discipline and teamwork that define his passion for football. And some of his most meaningful moments have had nothing to do with titles at all — just brothers, open roads, and a trip to the Ozarks that reminded him what it's all really about.

"Phi Delt can give you lifelong friendships, leadership experience, and memories you will never forget," he shares, "but you get out of it what you put into it."

On this day in 1903, Heinrich Ludwig (Lou) Gehrig was born in New York City. At 14 pounds, Lou was destined to make an impact.

From launching a grand slam completely out of the park as a teenager to becoming one of baseball's most beloved legends, his story inspires generations.

Happy Birthday, Lou. Thank you for showing us what it means to live like Lou. 💙
