Emory Oxford TASA The purpose of Emory Oxford TASA (Taiwanese American Student Association) is to promote Taiwanese culture and awareness within the Oxford community.

Emory Oxford TASA aims to explore and celebrate Taiwanese identity through various cultural events. Events include celebrating common holidays, discussing tradition, enjoying cultural delicacies, and more. TASA hopes to not only spread cultural awareness and diversity within the student population at the Oxford College campus, but to also, through this common thread of cultural identity, integrate

itself with the student populace at Emory University and by extension, the Atlanta community. Emory Oxford TASA aims to enrich the community with Taiwanese awareness so as to erase or reduce common misconceptions and stereotypes. By doing so, TASA hopes to serve as a vocal point that represents Taiwanese identity in the Oxford area to ultimately give Taiwanese Americans a stronger influence in society today.
