Here's a wonderful article about former Hopkins Head Librarian, Joe Wible. Joe recently set up an endowment so that I, and librarians following me in this role, will continue to be able travel to international conferences. It is a thoughtful and generous gift!

The Popular Science & Children’s Books sections outgrew their shelving at the front of the library, so today we moved them into the reading room. Receiving print journals was significantly reduced across Stanford Libraries in 2020, leaving us with plenty of room to work with in here. What do you think of the displays? 🤔

Here's a few photos of some progress in the spaces that we opened up in the library by removing shelving. We still need to add furniture, white boards, and get power to the desks, but we already have students using these spaces. 🥰

Miller Library is going through some *big* changes!! 😍 We've removed 11 rows of shelving to create more space for our patrons. There is more work to do, and more furniture to buy, but we wanted to share this exciting progress with you. Click through the photos for more info!
