Meet Mike Magill, a graduate from McCracken County High School and future Mechanical Engineering student at UK Paducah!

Mike has built an impressive foundation through engineering coursework, robotics, TSA leadership, and hands-on community involvement. As president of his school’s TSA chapter, he has helped lead engineering design projects and competitions while developing teamwork and problem-solving skills that will serve him well in the engineering field.

Beyond the classroom, Mike has also been involved with the Paducah Police Explorer Post and Citizens Police Academy, demonstrating leadership, service, and a commitment to learning new skills. He has volunteered with robotics competitions at WKCTC and assisted local events through community service opportunities.

We are excited to welcome Mike to the UK Paducah engineering family and cannot wait to see all he accomplishes in Mechanical Engineering!

Future Wildcat Spotlight!

Meet Seth Jeffords, a graduate of Massac County High School and future Computer Engineering Technology student at UK Paducah!

Seth has been deeply involved throughout high school, balancing academics, leadership, athletics, and engineering-focused competitions. He is a member of Beta Club, WYSE Team, Student Council, and National Honor Society, while also competing on both the Track and Cross Country teams. His wide range of involvement reflects both his dedication and strong work ethic.

Seth has also earned several impressive honors and awards during his high school career, including the President’s Volunteer Service Bronze Level Award, first place in Engineering at the National Beta State Convention, and first place in Engineering Graphics for the Shawnee Region. These accomplishments showcase his talent, creativity, and passion for engineering and technology.

We are excited for Seth to bring his leadership, innovation, and determination to the Computer Engineering Technology program at UK Paducah. We cannot wait to see the impact he will make as a future Wildcat!
