Today we proudly celebrate the 87th Chapter Chartering Anniversary of Beta Omega Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® right here in Paducah, Kentucky!

For nearly nine decades, our chapter has remained committed to uplifting our community through impactful service, meaningful sisterhood, and a legacy of excellence. We honor the vision of our charter members and celebrate the generations of Sorors who continue to carry the torch forward.

Here’s to 87 years of purpose, power, and pink & green pride — and to many more years of serving ALL mankind! 💚💕

Sisterhood with a purpose as Pink Goes Red for Heart Health! 🩷❤️ Today, our sisters wore red to bring awareness for heart health. Heart disease continues to be the leading cause of death, but together, we can save lives. We encourage you to check out the American Heart Association and make a donation.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® welcomed four exemplary honorary members into the Sisterhood who are FIRSTS in their professions:

💕Laura Coates, CNN’s chief legal analyst and anchor became the first African American woman to hold this position;

💚Karine Jean-Pierre, the first Black person and longest serving female to serve as White House Press Secretary;

💕Beverly Johnson, American Supermodel, New York Times best-selling author, actress, and businesswoman who was the first Black female featured on the cover of Vogue magazine; and

💚Gabby Thomas, the first Ivy League graduate to win an Olympic track and field medal.
