Lake Erie College, founded in 1856, provides an excellent, inclusive, and highly personalized education grounded in the liberal arts tradition. Guided by hope and care, our students are empowered to lead lives of personal significance and professional success as global citizens. We offer 35 undergraduate majors and master’s programs in business administration, professional studies, education, and

physician assistant studies. Our students compete in 19 NCAA Division II varsity sports and on three intercollegiate equestrian teams.

Our Equine Studies Industry & Outreach Coordinator, Mary Pardee, traveled to the Festival in Kentucky this summer and had the chance to connect with some amazing riders, catch up with LEC alumni, and talk about all that Lake Erie College has to offer!

Mary got to watch some amazing riders compete, catch up with LEC alumni, meet and speak with riders from across the country, and even give away a couple of Lake Erie College Equine Studies scholarships!

We love getting out into the equine community, supporting riders, and connecting with the next generation of equestrians. We hope to see some of these talented riders on campus someday when they’re ready to take their riding and education to the next level at Lake Erie College! 💚
