The mission of the College of the Desert Foundation is to act as an advocate for the college and to secure financial support, enhancing the educational opportunities for all students. COD Foundation was established in 1983 by a group of visionary business and community leaders as a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of higher education in the Coachella Valley by encouraging

private and public support for College of the Desert. Over the last 30 years, College of the Desert Foundation has raised over $63 million to support students and programs at the College, and manages endowments and other assets of more than $20 million.

It’s Thank You Thursday, and today we’re celebrating you. 💙🎓

Because of our incredible donors, every graduate in the Class of 2026 at College of the Desert received their regalia at no cost, with no barriers, just the chance to show up and fully celebrate this milestone.

At GradFest, that impact came to life. From picking up caps and gowns, to decorating them with personal touches, to enjoying lunch, professional photos, and time with friends, it was a day filled with pride, excitement, and well-earned joy. On this Thank You Thursday, we’re reminded that your generosity does more than provide regalia. It creates an experience. A memory. A moment students will carry with them long after graduation.
