We all need someone to lean on through college and beyond. We're lucky to have such caring and supportive sisters in AOII! ❤️

✨New research confirms sorority women report higher levels of flourishing, belonging, and positive mental health than their unaffiliated peers.
But the study also shows gaps in mental health literacy—fewer sorority women recognize the signs of distress or know what treatment resources are available.

Here are a few great tips for these hot summer days! What do you do to keep your body feeling ok?

Summer heat can make arthritis symptoms worse for some people — but a few simple tips can help you feel your best. 💧☀️

Stay cool and hydrated, and try gentle, low-impact activities like walking or swimming during the cooler parts of the day. Avoid too much sun or heat exposure, and use air conditioning or cooling aids when needed. These small steps can go a long way in keeping inflammation and stiffness in check!

This weekend is Madison's Jingle in July event supporting the Arthritis Foundation! Arthritis is AOII's philanthropy, and we love raising money for the Arthritis Foundation to support research, bring joy to kiddos with juvenile arthritis, and provide resources to people dealing with arthritis. ❤️

Jingle in July will be at Capital Brewery in Middleton on Sunday, July 20th, and has options for a 1-mile walk, 5k fun run, and 50k bike ride, as well as a "Jingle in Your Jammies" option for those who can't attend in person (you still get a shirt and swag bag)! AOII Convention was held in Palm Springs, CA in June, and one of our members attended as a collegiate chapter advisor. She's also our new Vice President of Madison Alumnae Chapter as of April!

While at Convention, Kaylee took part in business sessions, networked with other chapters, heard great keynote speakers, ate delicious meals, learned about advising and alumnae engagement, and celebrated extraordinary chapters and individuals at Rose Banquet. 🌹 Seeing old friends and making new ones made the trip even better!
