Building a career in dental assisting with more goals ahead. 🦷💜

Madai Martinez-Cerritos enrolled in Milan Institute’s Dental Assistant program to begin her career in the dental field. She now works at Shodhan Dentistry in Desert Hot Springs and plans to continue growing professionally by earning her Registered Dental Assistant license and eventually attending dental hygiene school.

Giselle now works at Parc Center Dental in Palm Desert and plans to continue growing in the field with the goal of becoming a dental hygienist.

Tayshaun Abner-Brown’s interest in dentistry led her to Milan Institute - Palm Desert, where she turned that curiosity into skills for the dental field. 🦷💜

After completing the Dental Assistant program, Tayshaun began working at Aspen Dental in Palm Desert and hopes to become a Registered Dental Assistant.

Her advice for students: keep going when things get difficult, and don’t be afraid to ask questions when you need help.

Perla Hernandez-Perez knew she wanted to become a dental assistant and chose Milan Institute - Palm Desert to work toward that goal. 🦷💜

After completing the Dental Assistant program, Perla began working at Teddy Dental in Indio. She plans to continue growing in dentistry by working toward her Registered Dental Assistant certification, with the possibility of pursuing her Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions certification.
Her advice for students: ask questions, keep pushing yourself, and never give up.

A first step in healthcare with more goals ahead. 🩺💜

Jocelin Acosta enrolled in Milan Institute’s Medical Assisting program to earn her certification and begin her career in healthcare. She now works at DAP Health in Desert Hot Springs, where she enjoys helping patients and gaining experience in the medical field.

Looking ahead, Jocelin plans to continue her education by pursuing nursing or becoming a physician assistant.
