We feel incredibly fortunate to have received such a wealth of outstanding submissions this year. The decision-making process was exceptionally difficult for our play reading committee, as the quality of work was truly impressive across the board. To those playwrights whose work was not selected, please know that your voices are valued, and we strongly encourage you to submit again next year.
Please note: The Pyro PlayFest contains mature language, themes, and situations and is not recommended for children under the age of 16.
We encourage audiences to understand that mature content in theater is not something to shy away from; rather, it plays a crucial role in storytelling, challenging perspectives, and fostering conversation. Live theater is not solely about entertainment—it is also a powerful medium to educate, provoke thought, and reflect the complexities of the human experience.
Join us as we celebrate bold new works and the transformative power of live theater!
