We are committed to training students to think, to solve problems, and to apply their knowledge

to the care and well being of their patients, and society. It is our belief that a high quality medical education should be affordable and accessible to everyone.

🀝 Collaboration plays an important role in improving health outcomes and strengthening communities.

SJSM was proud to partner with UNFPA for a special event focused on men's reproductive health across St. Vincent and the wider Caribbean. The program brought together healthcare professionals, educators, and community leaders to discuss challenges, opportunities, and strategies for advancing public health in the region.

Participants also had the opportunity to hear from Dr. Arthur L. β€œBud” Burnett II of Johns Hopkins University, whose groundbreaking contributions to urology and men's health have helped shape care worldwide.

SJSM was honored to welcome Dr. Arthur L. β€œBud” Burnett II, MD, MBA, FACS, internationally recognized urologist, researcher, educator, and Patrick C. Walsh Professor of Urology at Johns Hopkins University, for a special lecture at SJSM.

Dr. Burnett shared insight from a career that has shaped the future of men’s health, advanced surgical innovation, and transformed lives worldwide through pioneering nitric oxide research that contributed to therapies such as Vi**ra.
