❤️ Why do we celebrate Founders Day?

Founders Day is an opportunity to celebrate the history of Labette Community College and recognize the people whose vision and leadership helped make LCC what it is today.

LCC’s story began in 1923 as Parsons Junior College, with the first day of classes held on September 12. More than a century later, we continue to honor that beginning while celebrating the students, employees, alumni and community members who are helping build LCC’s future.
