The College provides the deep roots and expansive wings that students need to accomplish great things in their lives and chosen professions. LCC offers over 50 academic programs with classes during the day, evening and online while boasting 15 student clubs and holding 4 National athletic championship titles and two campus locations. The main campus location in Parsons, Kansas and the Cherokee Center, a smaller satellite campus located about thirty miles east near Pittsburg, Kansas.

Labette Community College invites applications for one full-time Allied Health Instructor position to begin in August 2026. The position is based at the main campus located in Parsons, KS.

The successful candidates will possess a thorough knowledge of the discipline required to share in the teaching of post-secondary students. The Instructor will provide classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction in allied health courses while supervising clinical learning experiences, maintaining healthcare partnerships, supporting workforce initiatives, and may provide non-credit healthcare and community education opportunities.

The responsibilities also encompass serving on LCC committees, maintaining office hours, and other activities required or agreed upon between faculty members and administration as specified in the LCC Master Agreement and LCC Policy and Procedures Manual.

Required qualifications include holding a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas, eligibility to teach CNA and CMA courses under Kansas regulations, eligibility to teach Phlebotomy courses, and a minimum of two years of recent clinical healthcare experience. Experience supervising clinical experiences and working with healthcare partnerships and knowledge of KBOR, KDADS and healthcare education compliance standards are preferred.

Excellent benefits such as vacation, sick leave, paid LCC tuition for employees and dependents, Kansas Public Employment Retirement System (KPERS), KPERS 457, 403B with matching plan, and the Kansas state plan insurances for medical, dental, and vision for the employee and family. Supplemental insurance is also offered.

The salary range is based on education and experience as governed by the Master Agreement. This is a full-time, 11-month contract position. Instructional assignments may include daytime, evening, weekend, online, hybrid, and off-campus clinical responsibilities. The position remains open until filled.
