Student-led short film screening of Sued For Request and discussion with Ben Camacho

Monday, March 4th
12-1pm
L106 (Student Services Center)

After making a public records request, the City of Los Angeles provided journalist with an employee roster and headshots for the entire Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD). After he shared the information, the City sued him.

While mayor Karen Bass has the ability to direct City Attorney Hydee Feldstein Soto to drop the charges, Bass has refused to do so.

Join us in hearing about police transparency and the public records act from Ben himself after watching a 10-minute mini doc by Eric Kelly.
