UCLA Rose Bowl Bruins The Rose Bowl Bruins is UCLA's regional alumni network for the San Gabriel Valley area. 💙💛

The UCLA Rose Bowl Bruins regional alumni group was formed in 1982 when UCLA football moved to the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. This move provided a great opportunity to create a new alumni support group in the area. Since our inception, we have been dedicated to supporting the greater interests of the University and building Bruin community to help local alumni stay connected. Members of the UCLA Rose

Bowl Bruins actively participate in community service projects, scholarship activities, and cultural, athletic, networking and family-friendly events that support UCLA and local alumni interests. The Rose Bowl Bruins board of directors are volunteers who plan cultural, educational, scholarship, networking and social events throughout the year. Bruins living and working in Pasadena, San Gabriel Valley, areas of Northeast Los Angeles and the surrounding neighborhoods are invited to get involved. Our network membership is drawn from the communities of Bradbury, Monrovia, Duarte, El Monte, Rosemead, Temple City, San Marino, San Gabriel, Alhambra, South Pasadena, Pasadena, Arcadia, Sierra Madre, Altadena, Sunland, Montrose, La Crescenta, La Canada-Flintridge, Eagle Rock, Los Feliz and eastern parts of Glendale.

💙🌷💛 The SGV is the place to be! We had 50+ Bruins join us for the Spring Social at the 1919 Cafe at The Huntington ... guess why we picked "1919" ... True Bruins will know!

Lotsa smiles, laughter and good vibes making new connections and seeing old friends. 😊

We were super excited at the interest in this event - 99 RSVPs! But also a little scared as to what to do with you all. It wasn't possible to chat w/ everyone individually during the two hours we had - so many Bruins, so little time - so please come to a future event so we can have another chance to get to know you!

💙🐻💛 Let's keep up the momentum in maintaining a strong Bruin community in the SGV! We are a ways from campus but it doesn't mean we can't bring UCLA here. Once a Bruin, always a Bruin!

👏🤗 Special thanks to John G. And Sally L. for contributing the prizes for our random number drawing. Your support is much appreciated!

We were going to make the attendees work for prizes via a digital trivia game ...but our test run with one table was a fail ... You know who you are! But it made it easier for everyone else. 😉

Also a shout-out to all the volunteer alums who came early to help set up, both board members and those who always step up to help us out. 🫶

Thanks to everyone who signed up early after at least three rounds of marketing emails from the UCLA Alum Assoc for this RBB x APA event! 💙💛 (yay, Team Alumni!)

We are happy to see so many folks interested in getting together for some 🌷 springtime fun, reconnecting with old friends and making new ones. Let's make sure there's nothing but positive good vibes!

***Reminder: The event is only from 10am to 12pm. After that, everyone is free to enjoy the rest of Saturday on their own.
