Hundreds of flights, hundreds of visits and thousands of memories made with our Chapter Consultant team this year. Because of them, our chapters are made stronger.

National Teacher Appreciation Day-A day where we get to recognize the people who have made such a huge impact in our lives and the impact they make to our future.

Maci Gibson (USC Upstate) is doing just that.
“My time in Phi Mu and throughout college played a huge role in shaping the teacher I am today. Our values love, honor and truth have continued to guide me and have never wavered. Phi Mu taught me the importance of supporting those around me, celebrating differences and always leading with kindness - qualities that are essential in the classroom.

Phi Mu also challenged me to grow academically, personally, and socially. It taught me responsibility, time management, and perseverance, while providing me with opportunities to collaborate with others and step outside my comfort zone. Through both Phi Mu and my college experiences, I learned how to be the best teacher I could be for my students. Those lessons supported me during my time in college and helped build a foundation in the classroom where students feel valued, encouraged and inspired to succeed.”

Thank you Maci and all teachers!

“I think before Phi Mu, I didn’t always realize what I was capable of. Now, I feel so much more sure of who I am and what I can do, especially when you have 600+ women rooting you on!”

From growing up in Atlanta, Georgia, to becoming President of Phi Mu at Ole Miss and now collaborating with Cocolillys, Yussi reflects on her journey and dedication to everything she does.

Yussi went through recruitment in 2023 and felt an instant connection to Phi Mu. “Phi Mu was the one place that just felt right to me,” Yussi says. “I didn’t have to force anything or overthink it. I just felt comfortable and seen in a way I hadn’t before.” Since joining and becoming President, Yussi has found friendship, confidence and leadership. She pays homage to her sisters for their encouragement and support. “I truly don’t understand how I got so lucky to be serving as Chapter President because of how in awe I am of my fellow sisters. They have taught me how to trust myself, how to show up for people and how to be present in every moment. From life to school to my creative work, Phi Mu has been such a big part of it.”

Yussi puts this same passion and love into her pieces with her collaboration with Cocolillys. Pulled from vintage vibes, bold colors, textures and little details, she has put together a collection that is sure to impress anyone with good taste. “I really wanted everything to feel fun and feminine but still something you could wear in your own way.” Her collaboration has given her the opportunity to design pieces, see them come to life and meet some amazing people along the way. “My collaboration with Cocolillys has been so fun and such a dream. I am excited for the people and my sisters to see something I’ve put so much love into!”

You can find Yussi’s pieces at Cocolillys, launching LIVE @ 5:00 p.m. CT! Congrats Yussi!
