Looking for a fast path into Hawaiʻi’s healthcare industry?

Become job-ready for retail and hospital pharmacy positions in as little as three months through our Pharmacy Technician Training program.

Build the skills employers are looking for while preparing for the national Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE). You’ll gain hands-on knowledge in:
-Prescription processing
-Pharmaceutical calculations
-Pharmacy law
-Inventory management
-Insurance billing
-Patient care

🗓️ Starting Tuesday, October 6, tuition hearings will be held throughout October to discuss the proposed 2-year tuition freeze, with increases beginning in 2029.

A hearing will be hosted on Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi Island, Kauaʻi and Maui. Participants can join in-person or online via Zoom.

The tuition hearing schedule is as follows:
➡️ Tuesday, October 6, 11:30 a.m.–1 p.m. UH Mānoa at Bachman Hall, Kiawe Room 106
➡️ Wednesday, October 14, 10–11:30 a.m. UH Hilo at Student Services Center, W201
➡️ Thursday, October 15, 9:30–11 a.m. Kauaʻi Community College at OCET Room 106C/D
➡️ Tuesday, October 20, noon–1:30 p.m. UH Maui College at Kaʻaʻike Bldg., Room 105 BCD

Mahalo to Wendy Hensel Wendy Hensel for spending the day with our Leeward CC ʻohana!

President Hensel shared updates on key UH System initiatives, met with campus governance groups and student leaders, and will wrap up her visit with a reception at the Hō‘ikeākea Art Gallery.

We were also pleased to welcome UH leaders, Jan Gouveia, Lui Hokoana, Dan Meisenzahl, Carrie Okinaga, Luis Salaveria, and spokesperson Moani Nabarro to campus.
