You are invited to a free screening of Mālama Mākua at Leeward Theatre, presented by Leeward Arts & Humanities, Hawaiian Studies, and the Innovation Center for Teaching and Learning. The film will be followed by a Q&A with director Michael Inouye and community members. The documentary highlights grassroots efforts to restore Mākua to Native Hawaiian stewardship and won the Audience Choice Award at HIFF.
