Hannah Pearson, now 19, has graduated from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke as of December 2025 and is poised to lead her own classroom in North Carolina before turning 20.
A graduate of Robeson Community College and Fairmont High School, she entered UNCP as a junior after earning 60 college credits through the state’s Career and College Promise Program.
Pearson, whose mother has taught for 28 years and whose father recently earned his own degree from UNCP, completed her elementary education degree as a Brave Scholar, a pathway designed to cultivate future educators.
She will begin her teaching career as one of the youngest licensed public school teachers in the state. - Africa Giant
