Epsilon Sigma’s brother of the month for October is Jacob Yay!

Originally from Boston, Jacob is a dedicated fan of the Patriots and Celtics. When he’s not focused on chapter business, you can often find him playing basketball or just hanging out with the guys. Jacob rushed last fall and quickly became involved, serving on the Social Committee and now holding the position of Number IV. We are incredibly grateful for his dedication and hard work, which have greatly benefited our chapter.

Here’s what he had to say about his experience in KA:

“Moving from Massachusetts to Pensacola, Florida, was a significant leap of faith, and I worried about finding my circle. Within days, the brothers of KA welcomed me so warmly that I felt instantly at home. KA has since helped me uncover talents and potential I never knew existed. Though I had never truly seen myself as a leader, embracing the #4 role, which reflects our core value of leadership, showed me I am capable of anything and ended all self doubt. I am truly grateful for the opportunities KA provides and for the brothers being a part of my life.”

Last night, Epsilon Sigma inducted its Epsilon class of 15 new members, including 4 legacies. These young men have taken their first steps towards joining KA, showing true commitment towards our chapter. We are looking forward to guiding these guys through the new member process as they learn about the history, tradition, and values that make up our Order.

Septembers brother of the month is Pascal Havugimana. Pascal has been crucial to the success of our chapter since joining. He has served as our previous Number 4, handling all things social and recruitment related. He rushed in Fall 23’ and is in our Alpha class of founding fathers. Throughout his time in KA his effort towards bettering our chapter has not gone unnoticed.

Outside of KA, Pascal loves blasting country music, hitting the gym with the boys, and spending time outdoors and on the water. Hailing from Jax, he’s also a big Jags fan. Aside from football he also loves watching the Tampa Bay Lightning, FSU, and the Arizona Dbacks.

Here is some words from Pascal about why he joined KA and how our chapter has benefitted him:

“I chose KA on a fluke; I never intended to join an organization. That came to an abrupt close as soon as I began researching and being explained the values of what it meant to be a KA. Along with the values and principles, the bonds and connections I have made so far in being a part of KA and the Epsilon Sigma chapter are bonds I will never let go of. From tailgates to bible studies, KA has put me on the path to achieving anything in life with the help of the brotherhood for which KA strives.“
