POV: You finally escaped the Bradley Bubble. 👟✨

While we love the Hilltop, sometimes the best reset happens just 10 minutes away from the 61625. We caught up with the crew for their season kickoff at Grandview Drive to see what the "world's most beautiful drive" is all about.

Whether you’re looking for a study break, a new walking buddy, or just want to explore more of the 309, there’s a spot for you here. It’s more than just a walk—it’s a community.

Meet them at the next one? Check out Instagram for the full season's walking schedule!

Wednesdays are for Business & Engineering Club. This past semester, students from

Pekin Community High School District 303 and Peoria Public Schools District 150 visited the Business and Engineering Convergence Center to learn about career paths for the future. For one of our sessions, the students pictured had the opportunity to work with Jeremy Brockhouse, Machine Shop Supervisor and BECC Safety Coordinator, in the Machine Shop, and Professor Heidi Rottier explained the basics of marketing through a case study of Taylor Swift. We love giving these future Braves a glimpse of where their curiosity can take them.

Things might be a little quieter here over the next few months. We'll still be here sharing stories of Braves learning new things and making a difference, but maybe not as often. We encourage you to savor the summer sun and make time to enjoy the break. August 26 will be here before you know it.

Meet Paul Contreras, a Business Management and Leadership major with minors in Marketing and Business Analytics at Bradley University, as we take a look at his senior year.

In his years in the Foster College of Business, Paul gained essential experience in leadership, communication, and strategy, which served him well during his presidency at the Bradley Club Hockey. Juggling education and sports, he learned fundamental time management and leadership skills, working with his fellow players and board members throughout the season. His impact did not go unnoticed: Paul earned both a Bradley Hockey Leadership Award and the prestigious Greg Killoran Club Sport Leadership Award from Bradley University, recognition that directly reflects his dedication to leadership, a core focus of his major. 🏒

Paul was also selected to be a member of the Order of Omega through his dedication and leadership in his fraternity, Delta Upsilon. Paul’s leadership and achievements in his studies and extracurricular activities around campus are shown through his induction into a prestigious order. 👨‍💼

Once he graduates, Paul will begin working for the Chicago Cubs as a Ticket Operations Associate, where he will apply all the knowledge that he gained and bring it with him to his career in the sports industry. Congratulations on graduation, Paul. Good luck with the Chicago Cubs!⚾
