The VSU Student Education Association (SEA) is an academic organization recognized by Virginia State University within the College of Education. Our members are pre-candidates and candidates within the College of Education who are preparing to become educators. We are one of the many chapters of the Student Virginia Education Association (SVEA), which is the student branch of the Virginia Educatio

n Association (VEA). The VEA is an affiliate of the National Education Association (NEA), the nation’s largest professional employee organization, representing nearly 3 million elementary and secondary teachers, higher education faculty, education support professionals, school administrators, retired educators and students preparing to become teachers.
