Our Story

Mission: The MRC seeks to prepare all students to work actively towards equity by providing knowledge, dispositions, and skills for acceptance and inclusion among diverse groups.

The Multicultural Resource Center (MRC) offers all students, especially those from traditionally underrepresented groups a WCTC, a safe place to call their own. The center promotes cross-cultural communication, awareness and understanding through programs, events and leadership development. The MRC’s goal is to create a community that recognizes challenges and transforms individual attitudes towards difference, while learning to celebrate the rich contributions of all cultures.
