Palestine Roxborough Lodge #135 partnered with Masonic Village at Lafayette Hill to host a whimsical and successful “Trunk-or-Treat” event on Friday. Everyone participated in the Halloween festivities, dressing up in costumes and transforming their vehicles into spooktacular masterpieces. From skeletons and ghosts to carnival and hippie themes, there were plenty of tricks, treats and creative touches to go around!

Lodge members, children and grandchildren of staff and residents and local families came out in droves to fill trick-or-treat and enjoy the bewitching bash! Even 6abc Action News got in on the fun. Check out the end of this clip from 6ABC to see the Halloween fun for yourself!

Pennsylvania Freemasons helped recognize one of our most historically significant brethren, Brother Winston Churchill, Studholme Lodge No. 1591, United Grand Lodge of England, at the International Churchill Society's annual conference.

Brother Vince Benedetto, WM, Honesdale Lodge No. 218, founded the Churchill Society of Pennsylvania and serves on the International Churchill Society's Board of Directors. His advocacy brought the international organization's annual conference to Philadelphia as a celebration of the semiquincentennial and to focus on the common threads between America's founding fathers and Churchill's actions during his long political career.

ONE North Broad, the special events venue within The Masonic Temple in Philadelphia, hosted the conference's closing gala, a night to remember with honored guest and speaker General James Mattis, U.S. Marine Corps, and former Secretary of Defense. He is also a member of the Freemasons of Washington - the first Mason at Sight made by a Washington state Grand Master since the Grand Lodge's founding in 1858.

R.W. Grand Master Robert D. Brink and Lady Allison Brink gave the general and his wife, Christina, a private tour of the Masonic Temple and showed them some of the most precious artifacts from the archives, including letters between Brother George Washington and Brother Marquis de Lafayette and the Tun Tavern cobblestone.

Grand Master Brink addressed the banquet attendees, enlightening them about Pennsylvania Freemasonry and receiving applause when describing the good works of our Masonic Charities.

Annual Communication and installation season is in full swing for many of our neighboring Masonic jurisdictions.

The Smith family's Masonic legacy expanded by one generation at Lehighton Lodge No. 621 last week!

As R.W. Grand Master Robert D. Brink conferred Brother Jonathon Smith's Master Mason degree, the other three generations of Pennsylvania Masons in the family - grandfather William Walters; father Chris Smith, District Deputy Grand Master of the 45th Masonic District; and older sibling Charles Smith - were there to welcome him into the fraternity. (The Grand Master also conferred Charles' Master Mason degree two years ago.)

Local and national Masonic leaders joined Pennsylvania Masons in the 35th Masonic District at Knapp Lodge No. 42's official visit with R.W. Grand Master Robert D. Brink!

Brethren heard about Grand Lodge history and The Masonic Temple in Philadelphia restoration and The Tun Legacy Foundation projects from the Grand Master and participated in a Q&A session. Additionally, they met Brother Eric C. Stahley, Most Excellent Grand High Priest of the Grand Holy Royal Arch Chapter of Pennsylvania, and Prince Patrick Ulebe, Honorable Provincial Deputy Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Nigeria, who was recognized at this year's June Quarterly Communication.

Grand Master Brink and his wife, Allison, as well as Junior Grand Warden Eric Downs and his wife, Christina, are representing the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania at the Grand Lodge of Delaware’s Annual Meeting in Rehoboth Beach, DE. Following fraternal business, the event featured luau-themed entertainment.

Congratulations to Most Worshipful Grand Master Richard McTheny, who received a certificate from the Masonic Service Association of North America for his service, and to Brother Matthew Thompson, who will be installed as Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Delaware today!

Shriners Children’s Philadelphia's "Amazing Care Affair" at The Union League of Philadelphia truly was an amazing time, celebrating the hospital's centennial and raising over $1.2 million!

Many Pennsylvania Masons attended, including R.W. Grand Master Robert D. Brink and Lady Allison Brink. Shekinah-Fernwood Lodge No. 246 and University Lodge No. 51 served as event sponsors.

Shriners Children's do incredible work helping kids, teens and their families heal and thrive.
