Good afternoon everyone! Our last SNAP meeting of the year is TODAY, April 25th, from 5:30PM-6:30PM in Mitten Hall, Room 250! Please be there for our end of the semester wrap-up along with a raffle for our active members. You may arrive a little earlier to pick-up merchandise and cords. Hope to see everyone there!

Our Blaze fundraiser will be this Thursday, April 25th, from 12PM-4PM. Members will receive 1 point for coming, 2 points for bringing 2+ friends and 2 points for volunteering at the table! We still have slots open so please sign-up! Come enjoy some pizza with friends! :)

Good morning SNAP members! This is just a friendly reminder that our April meeting will take place this Tuesday, April 9th, from 5:30PM-6:30PM at Mitten Hall in room 250. We will discuss remaining point opportunities, senior cords, and much more in preparation for the end of the school year. We hope to see you all there!

We would like to take the time to honor and congratulate our chapter president, Galya Kolodner, for having her poster accepted for the 67th Annual National Student Nurses' Association (NSNA) 2019 Convention in Salt Lake City, Utah! Her poster is called, "Utilizing Technology to Improve Burn Prevention Education." She is the first person to present from Temple University and we are all extremely excited for her! This is an incredible opportunity and we know she will make us proud!

We are having our SNAP 2019-2020 Board Election tonight, March 21st, at the SAC Underground, from 7:00PM-8:00PM. You will receive TWO points for attending and listening to candidates' speeches.

Additionally, Chelsea will be present to distribute formal tickets for any one who has not been able to pick them up yet! Even if you cannot stay, feel free to stop by to grab them.

Also, t-shirt sign-ups close tomorrow, so please order and put your name on the doc if you are interested! They are super comfy and you won't regret it!

SNAP's March meeting will take place tomorrow, Tuesday March 19th, from 5:30PM-6:30PM at the SAC Room 200C. Please keep in mind that all nursing students are welcome!

Our Spring semester blood drive is taking place tomorrow, March 19th from 10AM-3PM at the SAC Underground. Students will receive two points for volunteering (30 minute shift), two points for donating, and three points for donating power red.

Please be sure to pay for your formal tickets in order to receive your physical ticket! The money is due today by midnight! If you have any questions or concerns please contact Erin or Chelsea ASAP! It’s formal season! Temple University SNAP proudly presents the Great Gatsby Formal! It is taking place Saturday, March 30th, 2019 from 8:00PM-12:00AM at the Arts Ballroom located at 1324 Locust Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107. It is $38 per ticket. We accept cash, checks made payable to “Temple SNAP” and venmo (). ALL payments are due March 18th! Physical tickets will be distributed. Dinner and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided. There will be a cash bar available for those who are 21+. You may bring as many guests as you please! All nursing students are welcome! Lastly, the first 50 nursing people to sign up will be entered into a raffle to win a free t-shirt! Please contact Chelsea for any questions or concerns. We absolutely can’t wait to see you there! SNAP's February meeting will take place this Thursday, February 28th, from 5:00PM-6:00PM at the SAC Room 200A. Please keep in mind that all nursing students are welcome! We hope to see you all there! Additionally, COOKIE DOUGH is being delivered that day and will be distributed at the meeting, so please text Erin Edling if you are unable to make it. While it can technically be stored unrefrigerated for 21 days, we unfortunately do not have a lot of storage space and hope you are able to get it before spring break! If you know of someone who ordered dough that isn't in SNAP, please fill them in about this pick-up time! Even if you are unable to stay for the meeting, PLEASE come to pick-up! Details will follow about dough delivery. It may potentially arrive earlier than 5 for distribution!

Our cookie dough fundraiser has officially started! There are 2 lb. tubs for $10 each (6 different kinds to chose from) as well as one super-sized chunky chocolate chip tub at 2.7 lbs for $16. Feel free to reach out to family, friends, coworkers and classmates! We are hoping to sell the minimum of 84 tubs, so we are encouraging everyone to sell at least 1, but we understand if that's not possible for you. The fundraiser will end on February 12th and payments will be due on that day. This is to ensure the delivery before spring break. Members will receive 1 point for selling 1 tub, 2 points for 2-4 tubs, 3 points for 5-9 tubs, and 4 points for 10 and over! Please contact Emilee or an officer if you would like an order form! You can pay with cash, check (made payable to SNAP) or venmo (templeuniversitysnap). If you're unable to pick up a form, you can still purchase cookie dough and get the point! Please reach out to Emilee to let her know and venmo us $10 with the flavor you would like! 🍪

Welcome back, SNAP! Our first meeting of the semester will be tomorrow, Thursday, January 24th at 5:30PM. It will be located at the SAC Cinema, which is right next to the underground of the SAC. Please keep in mind that our meetings are open to ALL nursing students regardless of if they are in SNAP. We hope to see everyone there!

It's not too late to participate in the Stuffed Animal Toy Drive for St. Christopher's Hospital for Children! 🎁 Lauren will be at the tech TODAY from 1-3:30PM! Please feel free to donate any stuffed animal (MUST be a stuffed animal and MUST be brand new and never used, preferably with the tags still on) for THREE points.
