Social platform: there are a TON of metalheads on this campus, but we don't talk to each other as much as we should (which would allow everyone to go to more concerts)
funding: I think its in our second semester as an organization at Temple we start to get funding from the university, which could turn into things like free or discounted tickets. As an organization we'll have the opportunity to cr
eate relationships with venue's and possibly get them to provide us with extra discounts. Fans of all subgenres welcomed. Subgenres I can think of off the top of my head: NWBHM, glam, thrash metal, black metal , death metal, grind, progressive metal, power metal, industrial, folk metal, or NWAHM (new wave of american heavy metal, I think this term fits the last 10-15 yrs of a lot of metal in the US quite well, ie, lamb of god, god forbid, chimaira, Devildriver, macheine head, etc). If there's any subgenre that I forgot, please let me know so we can add it.
