After a threat of temporary bike lane elimination, the Streets Department responded to the Bicycle Coalition on Monday that they will not be removing the bike lanes on the Ben Franklin Parkway during phases of construction. Rather, they will maintain four feet bike lanes in both directions during construction, which is scheduled to go on through spring 2016.
