Most notably, Dr. Wilson's 2017 translation of Homer's ancient Greek epic The Odyssey was recognized for being the first complete English translation by a woman. During the talk, she will focus on the importance of poetic form, revision, and the possibilities for creating a sense of surprise and discovery.
