MilkCrate for Communities, an app that will engage PhilaU students in sustainable behavior, is set to launch campus-wide on Thursday, March 30.

Created by PhilaU Sustainable Design alum Morgan Berman (‘14) the mobile-friendly app will make sustainability and impact fun. Students, as users, will have free access to a private PhilaU community where they can earn points for checking into sustainable businesses, registering for events and volunteering opportunities, signing up for eco-friendly services (like CSAs and car shares), and logging their sustainable activities (like riding a bike to class and using reusable mugs).

Top point earners will earn rewards like cash, tickets to the Phillies, and credit at the bookstore.

For more information, visit the MilkCrate website or follow them on social media ().

Any questions? Feel free to reach out to Caitlin of MilkCrate: [email protected].
