Brain Training
Ages 18-30. Must own PC laptop (not a Mac)

Past research shows that brain training improves mental abilities. You will complete computer based tasks that measure mental ability (2 hours). You will then return to the lab for your first training session. You will need to bring a PC laptop (NOT A MAC) with you for this session. While you complete your training, the researcher will install the training program on your computer. You must complete 20 sessions (~30 minutes each) at home (5 days a week for four weeks). After completing your training, you will return for a final assessment (Brain Training Part 3; 2 hours) where you will complete tasks similar to your initial assessment. You will be compensated $150 upon completion of the entire study. You may also opt to receive up to 15 SONA credits instead of money. We will schedule Part 3 once you have completed Part 1 and 2. NOTE: The final session of the study must be completed on campus. As such, you must be in the Philadelphia area one month from the date you start the study to complete the experiment.
