Asking alumni to be members of the local chapter every year, can be daunting. Here are a few reasons to consider joining.

3) You get a chance to give back, to help students from the area.
In a city like Philly, that sense of shared identity and purpose is a pretty cool feeling.

The chapter participated the Phillies HBCU Night sharing NCCU with students from the tri-state area!! And, of course, we had to hang out and make it a chapter meetup!!

The chapter participated in the Philadelphia Phillies 3rd Annual HBCU & Divine 9 Celebration as the Phillies took on the Miami Marlins!
650 plus students from Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Maryland were invited to the private HBCU Mixer before the game.
As a bonus, we were able to tour the Hall of Fame area which spotlighted pioneering African American players!
And the Phillies won 4-1! ⚾️
