It was the founder's purpose to establish a fraternity in which all men were brothers, no matter what their religion; a fraternity in which ability, open-mindedness, farsightedness, and a progressive, forward-looking attitude [would] be recognized as the basic attributes. Today Pi Lam continues the ideals our founders set for us by judging men not based off of their religion, race, or creed, but b

y their character. Men of Pi Lam push for the elimination of prejudice in all aspects of society, because the only way to become better men and people in general is to break down the barriers that separate groups of individuals.
