This is what "giving back" looks like. 🍎

Nikki started as an AZTR Resident, learning the ropes with a mentor teacher by her side. Now she is THAT mentor! She is guiding a new resident through her first apprenticeship year, the same way someone once helped her grow as a teacher.

That's what makes our program different: residents get real classroom support from day one, and many come back to pay it forward once they've found their footing. It's not just a program, it's a community that keeps investing in itself.

Welcome Fall Semester! 🍎📚

This year will go by fast, don't blink! This semester, each teacher resident steps into a paid apprenticeship, guided by a Supervising Mentor Teacher, all while earning their master's degree, classroom by day, coursework by night.

Plus, they won't be doing it alone. A full cohort of classmates will be right there with them from day one to diploma.

🍎 This week, our teacher residents and alumni in the Roosevelt School District walked into the first day of school, together, and not for the first time.

Every AZTR Teacher is somewhere different in their journey. Some are seasoned veterans. Some just started their first or second year. All of them have people in their corner.
